Crystalson Packaging
Custom Packaging for Los Angeles & Orange County
George Crystal was a traveling salesman, who sold staple machines to furniture manufacturers and box companies. While serving in World War II, his knowledge of packaging put him in an interesting position and out of harm’s way. He served his time showing the companies supplying products to the war how to package their products to reach their final destination intact. When the war ended, George continued to sell staple machines.
In the mid 1950s, George took a job selling corrugated cartons for a large national packaging company. Over time, he built a great reputation and client base. In 1972, at the retirement age of 65, his bosses urged George to turn over his accounts. Not ready for retirement, he asked his son Harry Crystal to join him. Together, they started Crystalson Packaging Co., Inc.
Harry was fortunate to spend over 15 years learning from one of the best in the business. He has spent the past four decades meeting all of his customers’ packaging wants and needs.
